SHELL CARRINGTON TEAM'S COUNTY DAY LIST 12th May, 2003

The Shell Carrington Team of Alan Night, Chris Benson, Steve Gmerek and Phil Greenwood were the national winners of the 12-hour section of the In-Focus bird race, held on 20th May, 1993.

They chose the period 6am to 6pm and sites visited included Urmston Meadows, Dovestones, Saddleworth Moor, Etherow Country Park, Flixton, Shell Carrington Reserve, Carrington Moss, Audenshaw Reservoirs, Castleshaw Reservoirs, Hope Carr Reserve and Pennington Flash.

A total of 79 species were seen.
