THREE OWLS BIRD SANCTUARY AND RESERVE (Registered charity)

All species of wild bird cared for, rehabilitation and release on sanctuary reserve. Open every Sunday 12:00 - 17:00, otherwise by appointment. Bi-monthly newsletter and veterinary support. Heronry on reserve!

STAPELEY GRANGE WILDLIFE HOSPITAL, near Nantwich tel. 0870 4427102 (directions: exit J16 off M6 onto A500 westbound; go approximately 9 miles until T-junction with A51, following Stapeley Water Gardens signs; it is about half a mile past the Water Gardens on the main road and is signposted.

Tel. 0161 487 2692 of Hazel Grove deals with Foxes, badgers, swans and other wildlife and liaises with the Lower Moss Wood Rescue Centre at Knutsford.

ESCAPES FROM CAPTIVITY

For birds other than pigeons which have rings, contact the British Bird Council (secretary Mr. R. Catton) at 1st Floor, Facet House, Facet Street, King's Norton, Birmingham B38 9PT.

For escaped falcons, Derek Stotton on 01942 674338 acts as a liaison point.

For racing pigeons, contact Royal Pigeon Racing Association, The Reddings, Cheltenham GL51 6RN, tel. 01452 713529 who may be able to help in identifying owners of ringed birds.
