PHOTOGRAPHIC BIRD ART BY PHIL JENNISON

I have always loved wildlife and birds especially, but got interested in photographing them only a couple of years ago when I had the good fortune to go to Botswana on a safari holiday. I bought my first digital SLR a few weeks before the trip together with a telephoto zoom lens, and by the end of my trip I was completely hooked!

Now I would say I am verging on being worryingly obsessed and my camera is usually with me at all times! To combine the thrills of stalking and watching with the added challenge of taking pictures has become a fantastic hobby.

I am not a great fan of doing lots of processing on the computer and enjoy taking portrait shots along with a few more 'arty' ones. I have loads to learn about how to get the best out of my shots but having fun is what its all about!
