SNOW GOOSE

There has only ever been 1 record of Snow Goose in the county that has been regarded as truly wild.

That skeins on Pink-footed Geese regularly cross the county on route from Lancashire to North Norfolk and vice-versa, it seem inevitable that Snow Geese wintering in these regions might too pass over the county with the Pink-feet and this is likely the only chance of encountering a 'countable' Snow Goose in the county.
