KITTIWAKE

The largest flock of this species recorded in the county was a magnificent 73 birds on the 16th March 1988 at Audenshaw Reservoirs.

The longest staying Kittiwake in the county lasted 16 days at Sale Water Park from the 1st-16th April 1995.

On the 2nd October 1985 a Kittiwake was found dead under pylons in Stockport town centre.
