JACK SNIPE

Greater Manchester has a history of attracting good numbers of Jack Snipe but the highest count ever is remarkable not only just for the 39 birds present but also due to the fact that the count was made in an area no larger than two tennis courts! The venue for total was Croxdens Peat Works NR on the 2nd December 2001.
