COMMON GULL

 

The highest number of Common Gulls recorded in Greater Manchester is a roost of 11,000 birds at Audenshaw Reservoirs on the 24th December 1985.

 

A Common Gull ringed as a chick at Uusikaupunki, Turku-POri, Finland on the 3rd July 1996 was seen at Three Sisters Country Park on the 26th December 1996, 1646km distance.

From the 6th January to the 23rd February 2002 an albino Common Gull visited Audenshaw Reservoirs.
